IoT protocols and standards are the modes of communication that aim to protect and ensure optimum security of the data being exchanged between connected devices. As per Gartner's report, there would be a phenomenal increase in the use of IoT devices, approximately 25 billion IoT devices will be there by 2021, so there would be a need for some standards to secure the data transfer between connected devices.
